Adhesive & Product Safe
### Adhesive & Product Safety
Some of our handmade products use E6000 adhesive to securely attach appliqués, beads and decorative embellishments.
E6000 contains solvents while wet and uncured and carries manufacturer safety warnings relating to exposure to its vapours. The greatest potential for exposure occurs while the adhesive is being applied and during the curing process, as solvents evaporate from the adhesive.
To minimise exposure, we take additional precautions when creating your pieces:
- E6000 is used in small amounts and applied in a well-ventilated workspace.
- Products are kept in a ventilated area while the adhesive cures.
- Products are allowed to fully cure and air out for a minimum of 72 hours before being packaged.
- Products are not packaged while the adhesive is wet or actively curing.
- If any noticeable solvent odour remains, the product is aired for longer before packaging.
Once E6000 has fully cured and has been appropriately aired, the volatile solvents present during application and curing have substantially dissipated. However, we do not represent E6000 or our finished products as non-toxic, food-safe, or suitable for chewing or mouthing.
### Important Child Safety Information
Our products are decorative keepsakes and are not toys. Many designs contain beads, appliqués and other small decorative components.
Children should never be left unattended with our products. Products should be displayed or stored securely and out of reach of babies and young children where appropriate.
Do not allow children to place any part of the product in their mouth, chew or suck on the product, or remove and play with embellishments.
Please regularly check your item for loose or damaged components and discontinue access to the product if any component becomes loose.
By.PeachyRose products are designed to be treasured as decorative keepsakes and should always be used with appropriate adult supervision.
